Brothers Pool of Wallingford hosted their First Annual Silent Auction on November 16^th.  Brothers Pool, affiliated companies and employees of the store, donated items to be auctioned.  Some of the local businesses that contributed to the auction include, New Generation Salon, Café Ra, Galleria, Hometown Pizza & Restaurant, Amore Pizza, New England Enterprises, New England Dive Center, Pool Water Pat and Blondies Bountiful Baskets, LLC. 
The event allowed participants to share food and drink with the Brothers Pool staff, enter a free holiday raffle and, of course, bid in the auction.  Each participant in the auction received a credit from Brothers Pool to start their bids and all proceeds from the auction were donated to a local charity, God’s Dinner.  The charity, part of the Parents & Kids Foundation, Inc., provides Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners to families in need and home bound individuals in Wallingford, Cheshire, North Haven and Meriden.  Brothers Pool was proud to raise over $1,200 for this organization with their First Annual Silent Auction and hope that their contributions will grow as the event continues.
