Congratulations to Our Employees

Brothers Pool would like to congratulate their honor student employees.

Curt Langler, Katie Lamb, Lia Morgillo, Greg Scheidler and Zach Aszklar (not in photo) receive 2008 honors at their schools.  Brothers Pool proudly encourages good grades by giving student employees a savings bond for each semester they receive honors or better.

Curt Langler graduated from Sheehan High School with an overall GPA of 3.3.  Curt was a member of the school swim team through his four years at Sheehan, and this fall he will attend Wentworth College in Boston, MA.

Katie Lamb received honors all of her four terms of her junior year at Sheehan High School with average of 3.8.  She participated in the Sheehan volleyball team where she played in the All Academic Conference Game and softball team where she was named Record-Journal Scholar Athlete.  Katie is currently looking at colleges in the Boston area where she plans to pursue a business degree.

Lia Morgillo earned an average of 3.5 throughout her year at Cheshire Academy.  She also received an award for Most Improved Student in the junior class.  She is an active member of the USA Wildcats All-Star Cheerleading squad in Waterbury which competes throughout the country.

Lia was honored with the coach's award for her squad.

Greg Scheidler made the Dean's List with a 3.8 for his freshman year at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.  He is majoring in architecture and working towards a competitive semester abroad in Italy.

Zach Aszklar also graduated from Sheehan High School and received honors each term of his senior year.  Next year he will begin school at the Universal Technical Institute in Norwood, MA where he will major in automotive.  He had been honored by the Tech Student of the month in December 07 and Tech Student of the Year for Sheehan's 07-08 year.
