Pool safety comes in many different forms. Fencing is required for all In-Ground pools either the entire yard or just the pool itself. The fence must be approved swimming pool fence , have self closing, locking gates, and be a minimum of 48" high. If the pool IS NOT fenced on all four sides and a house is used a part of the barrier, special alarms will be needed at windows and doors connecting to the pool. Every swimming pool today must have an alarm in it. Not enough can be said for a strong, well built pool and just plain common sense.
